The brief
Replace an ageing timber deck with a wider, engineered structure suitable for outdoor dining and gatherings.
The challenge
Steep site, existing retaining wall, hardwood-on-steel substructure required, and a single weekend window for the substantial cure.
What we built
Steel sub-frame fabricated off-site, hardwood deck boards spec'd for coastal exposure, balustrade detailed to keep sightlines clean.
The result
Delivered in six weeks with a deck the owners now use year-round.
